Obtaining the AREP Designation:

Obtaining the AREP Designation requires membership in Real Estate Professionals Society (REPS) and completion of the REPS Career Management Course, which introduces licensees to the

Accredited Real Estate Professional (A-REP)  
The first designation all licensees should get. The course takes you through the first days of your new career and shows you how to get up and running quickly. The course is based on the book titled “Up and Running in 30 days” by Rita Santamaria, of a RealtyU School in Texas, namely Champions Real Estate School. Completion of this one-day course entitles real estate professionals to use the A-REP designation.

Career Management Professional (CM-REP)  
This is one of the very first courses a new licensee should take. It introduces new real estate agents to the “Seven Steps to Success.” This course is usually taken immediately after the A-REP course and helps agents to plan their career and decide what and how they should build a successful long-term business. Completion of this one-day course qualifies for the CM-REP designation.

Electronic Real Estate Professional (E-REP)  
Don’t let technology scare you – this basic course will provide you the nuts and bolts, dos and don’ts and the answers to all the technology hardware, software, networking, Internet, email and e-commerce questions you have. Completion of this one-day course qualifies for the E-REP designation.

Referral Real Estate Professional (R-REP)  
Every year thousands of real estate agents decide to leave the industry for a variety of reasons. However, many still wish to remain partially involved in the real estate industry and would like to utilize their real estate license and derive additional income, although not being actively involved in sales. This can be achieved by providing referrals to other licensed agents through a “Limited Referral Organization.” This one-day course will teach you how to make extra dollars even if you are no longer in the industry.
